ASTM D975-21, Standard Specification for Diesel Fuel Oils, defines and provides specifications for No. 4-D fuel oil.
No. 4-D is a heavy distillate fuel, or a blend of distillate and residual oil, used for low and medium speed diesel engine applications involving primarily constant speed and load.
Paragon is capable of performing a majority of the analysis related to the testing of No. 4-D fuel oil according to ASTM D975-21 Table 1 requirements.
Procedures included on our A2LA Scope of Accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025:2005 are designated as such.

Footnotes:
[A] ASTM D2622 is listed in ASTM D975-21 as the referee method for sulfur analysis on S5000 grades. ASTM D5453 can be used as an alternative test procedure. Section 5.1.8 of ASTM D975-21 states that ASTM D5453 is appropriate for all grades of diesel fuel oil. Paragon currently offers analysis by ASTM D5453.
